Amy Poe

One designer. Every department. Start to finish.

I’m an experienced creative art director and designer who leads visual projects from concept through execution — scenic, lighting, props, and styling — across theatre, opera, film, television, and commercial media. My work pairs a storyteller’s instinct with the technical fluency to actually get it built, on time and on budget.

I hold an MFA in Entertainment Design from Southern Methodist University, and I’m currently a Coordinator at The Dallas Opera, where I handle planning and execution for 100+ character productions and coordinate IATSE crew and craftspeople across large, Tier 1 regional operas and touring productions. I take on freelance and contract design work throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth region and beyond.
