The Role

As Wardrobe Styling for Dr. Phil Primetime and Merit Street Media, the work spanned two years of primetime television production in Roanoke, Texas. Responsible for every on-camera look — from principal talent and recurring guests to full episode casts — the role required managing a large wardrobe department, building and maintaining an extensive inventory, and delivering polished, camera-ready looks on tight production schedules.

The position required deep knowledge of what reads well on camera: color theory for broadcast, fabric behavior under studio lighting, silhouette choices that work for seated interviews, and the ability to pull looks that felt personal and authentic to each individual guest.

Department & Scope

Day-to-day responsibilities included managing the wardrobe department from pull to return — coordinating with producers on upcoming guest needs, building out character wardrobes, overseeing fittings, and ensuring continuity across multi-day shoots. The department maintained thousands of garments organized by gender, size, and category, spanning wardrobe pulls from high-end designers (Alexander McQueen, Ralph Lauren, and beyond) to accessible brands suited to a diverse guest roster.

Every episode brought a fresh set of people, body types, comfort levels, and stories — requiring both strong organizational systems and genuine sensitivity to the people being dressed.
