About the Design
Jaclyn Backhaus’s retelling of the 1869 Powell expedition, costumed for a cast playing 19th-century explorers against a red-rock canyon. The design grounds the adventure in worn, period-accurate frontier wear — layered vests, suspenders, neckerchiefs and broken-in boots.
